Pakistan: DG Khan second-quarter profit rises14 February 2014, Published under Cement NewsDG Khan, one of Pakistan's leading cement producers, posted a 14 per cent YoY rise in profit during 2QFY14 to PKR1.61bn but higher power costs affect gross margins. Earnings per share rose to PKR3.68 against PKR3.22 a year earlier. Revenues increased by 10 per cent YoY to PKR6.54bn while gross margins declined to 34 per cent from 40 per cent in the comparative period of FY13 due to higher power costs.
