Dangote has sold 0.332Mt of cement from its 1.5Mta cement plant in Douala, Cameroon, in the first quarter of 2018 according to the Nigeria-based cement producer. This week Dangote Cement Group reported on its 1Q18 business results that saw group revenues surge up 16.3 per cent to NGN242.1bn (US$0.67bn). Cameroon’s cement producers – Cimencam, Dangote, Cimaf and Necsen – have produced a combined output of 2.6Mt of cement in 2016, according to Camerpost.
