Four Cemex USA cement plants achieved the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star® certification for 2017, recognised for their efforts in energy efficiency and sustainability. Two Cemex USA terminals have achieved the US Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star® Challenge for Industry by reducing greenhouse gas emissions through energy conservation.
