Kohat Cement Co Ltd (KOHC) has announced an increase of 43.7 per cent in its profit on a YoY basis during its financial results for the year ended 30 June 2022. Pakistan’s Kohat Cement has posted a net profit of PKR1.059bn (US$6.92m) in the quarter ending 31 March 2021, compared with a PKR381.08m loss in the same period last year. Pakistan’s Kohat Cement Company Ltd (KCCL) has announced a 5.4 per cent YoY fall in profit after tax for the nine months ended 31 March, decreasing to PKR2.17bn (US$15.3m) from PKR2.29bn. However, sales increased by 17.9 per cent to PKR12.24bn during the 9MFY18-19. The company incurred a distribution cost of PKR109.4m, rising 16.4 per cent YoY from PKR94m in the year-ago period. Administrative expenses reached PKR191.7m compared to PKR150.7m in the corresponding period of the last fiscal.

Kohat Cement reports profit increase of 32.7%

Kohat Cement announced a profit after tax of PKR4.4bn (US$42.1m) for the financial year ending 30 June 2016, a 32.7 per cent increase from the PKR3.2bn achieved in the corresponding period last year. Pakistan: Environment agency orders two plant closures

Pakistan’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has ordered two cement plants to close for filing to install measures to control dust emissions, according to reports in the local press. The plants affected belong to Dewan Cement and Kohat Cement. A spokesperson for the EPA said that both companies had been told to act to curb dust pollution but not done so to date.
