Cementarnica Usje sees 9M net profit up 77%

North Macedonia-based Cementarnica Usje , owned by Greek cement producer Titan, reported 77 per cent YoY increase in net profit to MKD1.1bn (US$19m) in the January-September 2023 period. The company’s operating expenses declined 17 per cent YoY to MKD3.4bn in the 9M23 as material costs fell 23 per cent YoY to MKD1.9bn. It total operating revenue slipped by two per cent YoY to MKD4.8bn in the 9M23.

Titan Group donates to fire prevention programme

Cementarnica Usje announces fall in 2018 net profit

Macedonia’s Cementarnica Usje has reported a four per cent fall in non-consolidated net profit to MKD1bn (US$18.4m) in 2018. The company’s total operating revenue remained fairly consistent YoY at MKD4.59bn, compared with MKD4.58bn in 2017. Domestic market sales increased three per cent YoY to MKD2.9bn, while foreign sales declined three per cent to MKD1.5bn. The company’s operating expenses advanced four per cent to MKD3.47bn during the period.

Cementarnica Usje reports 10% fall in net profit

Macedonia’s Cementarnica Usje has reported a 10 per cent YoY fall in its consolidated net profit to MKD777.7m (US$14.3m) for the 9M18, while operating revenue dropped three per cent to MKD3.35bn. The decline in operating revenue has been attributed to lower revenue from foreign markets in the first nine months of the year, which decreased six per cent to MKD1.1bn. Domestic sales revenue remained flat at MKD2.15bn.

Macedonian cement producer Cementarnica Usje has reported a 14 per cent YoY fall in non-consolidated net profit to MKD94.9m (US$1.8m) in the 1Q18, the company said in an interim statement. Macedonia’s Cementarnica Usje reported a nine per cent YoY fall in its non-consolidated net profit to MKD1.09bn (US$61.8m) in 2017. Titan-owned Cementarnica Usje of Macedonia reported a net profit fall of 10 per cent YoY to MKD865.9m (US$16.4m) in the first nine months of 2017.
