Turkish cement maker Akcansa is tendering for 230,000t of coal for delivery between June and September, traders said.     Akcansa is expected to buy Russian coal, shipped in small vessels of 20,000-25,000 dwt.    The offer deadline is Wednesday, April 18.

The Cement Manufacturers Association of India has said that the government should reduce the duty structure on cement so as to make it more affordable for the consumer. At the end of last month, it was seen that Mexican cement groups had failed to fill the export quotas allowed these days on trade with the US since demand from the US construction industry is down.
