TCK posts 15% decline in net profit for 2019

Bosnia’s Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) has posted a 14.9 per cent YoY decline in net profit to BAM14.3m (US$8.4m) in 2019, compared with BAM16.8m in the previous year. The company’s operating revenue increased 1.8 per cent to BAM73.4m, while operating costs advanced 3.8 per cent to BAM57.3m.

TCK announces 42% fall in net profit

Bosnia's Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) has announced that its net profit fell 42 per cent YoY to BAM5.3m (US$3m) for the 1H19, compared with BAM9.1m in the year-ago period. Operating revenue decreased 9.7 per cent to BAM32.2m in the first six months of the year, while operating costs rose 0.8 per cent to BAM26.8m.

Tvornica Cementa Kakanj records 26% net profit increase

Bosnia’s Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) facility has recorded a 26.3 per cent YoY increase in net profit to BAM9.1m (US$5.4m) in the 1H18, according to its financial report. Operating revenue advanced 10.7 per cent to BAM35.6m, while operating costs also rose 6.4 per cent to BAM26.6m. TCK is majority-owned by Dutch-based CEEM Investment, a unit of HeidelbergCement.

TCK reports 13% increase in operating revenue

Bosnian cement producer Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) recorded a 10.2 per cent YoY decrease in net profit for 2017, falling to BAM15.9m (US$10m) from BAM17.7m. However, the company’s operating revenue increased 12.7 per cent to finish at BAM70.2m, according to its annual financial report. Similarly, operating costs rose 13.1 per cent to BAM54.2m (2016: BAM47.1m). TCK is majority-owned by CEEM Investment, which is part of HeidelbergCement.

Bosnian cement producer Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) reported a modest rise in 1H net profit to BAM7.2m (US$4.3m) from BAM7.1m a year earlier. The company’s operating revenue rose 8.8 per cent YoYto BAM32.2m in the January-June period, while operating costs expanded to BAM25m from BAM22.4m in 1H16. TCK is majority-owned by Dutch-based CEEM Investment, which is part of Germany's HeidelbergCement.

Bosnia: TCK sees net profit rise to EUR7.1m in 2015

Bosnian cement producer Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK), owned by HeidelbergCement, saw its net profit jump to BAM13.8m (US$7.88m), up 22 per cent from BAM11.3m in 2014. The company’s operating revenue edged up 1.4 per cent YoY to BAM62.1m  in 2015. Operating costs decreased to BAM48.2m from BAM49.7m in 2014, TCK said in its financial report sent to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.

Bosnia: TCK to distribute EUR8.3m as dividend

Bosnia-based Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) said its shareholders have approved distributing BAM16.2m (EUR8.3m) as dividend. The HeidelbergCement group company said in a statement issued after a shareholders meeting on Tuesday that is produced 420,000t of cement in 2014, down 11.8 per cent from 476,000t a year earlier. Tvornica Cementa Kakanj’s consolidated net profit fell to BAM11m (US$6.1m) in 2014 from BAM16.9m a year earlier, the Bosnian cement producer reported on Monday. The HeidelbergCement group company said consolidated sales revenue declined 17.7 per cent YoY to BAM77.6m in 2014, Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) said in its audited financial report sent to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.

Bosnia's Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK), part of the HeidelbergCement Group, sees its cement output flat this year after producing 420,000t in 2014, the company's director said. “Our cement production fell by around 10 per cent in 2014, which was probably the most difficult year since the war for the Bosnian economy and its citizens as the country went through political turmoil in February followed by record floods in May and in August and elections in October,” Branimir Muidza told SeeNews ...

Bosnia-based Tvornica Cementa Kakanj (TCK) net profit rose by 6.25 per cent to BAM8.5m (EUR4.3m) in the first half of 2014 compared to BAM8m a year earlier, the company said on Friday. The HeidelbergCement group company said first-half operating income decreased by 1.5 per cent YoY to BAM31.9m while operating costs fell to BAM23.2m from BAM24.5m. TCK is based in Kakanj, in the Muslim-Croat Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
