Saudi Arabia's Yamama Cement Co has announced revenue of SAR935.19m (US$249.38m) for 2023, down 7.23 per cent on the SAR1008.1m seen in the previous year. Yamama Cement Co of Saudi Arabia recently announced its interim financial results for nine months, ending on 30 September 2023, at the Saudi stock exchange. Saudi Arabia's Yamama Cement has reported a 23.6 per cent advance in revenue to SAR684.2m (US$182.5m) in the first nine months of 2022. Yamama Cement Co of Saudi Arabia saw its net profit after zakat and tax decline by 9.2 per cent YoY to SAR120.1m (US$32m) in the 1H22 from SAR 132.55m in the 1H21. Sales expanded by 12.5 per cent YoY to SAR430.86m in the 1H22 from SAR382.83m in the year-ago period. In the second quarter of 2022, net profits were up by 16.8 per cent YoY to SAR90.69m from SAR77.68m in the 2Q21. Sales increased by 3.3 per cent to SAR209.28m from SAR202.57m in the 2Q21.

Yamama Cement signs SAR1.633bn financing agreement

The aggregate sales of 17 Saudi cement producers decreased by seven per cent to 4.8Mt in December 2021, from 5.2Mt in the same month last year, according to recent data issued by Yamama Cement Co. Yamama Cement Co makes early loan repayments

Yamama Cement Co announced the early repayment of SAR130m (US$34.6m) worth of two loan installments to Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), according to a bourse filing.   The company has an outstanding debt balance of SAR1.178bn, reports Argaam. The repayment of the two installments, which were due in 2022, was financed from the company’s available cash. The early repayment is in line with the company’s strategy aimed at boosting its financial efficiency.
