Indonesia September sales ahead

Indonesia cement sales rose by 2.8 per cent in September, latest data from the Indonesia Cement Association (ASI) shows. Sales rose to 5.79Mt last month, from 5.63Mt a year earlier. The Indonesian Cement Association (ASI), is confident that sales will rise by 4-5 per cent beginning in September until December 2015. Ecuador cement sales over the first eight months of 2015 climbed to 3.88Mt, the latest update from local cement association INECYC shows. During August 2015, sales slipped by 1.1 per cent to 498,845t compared to the month before when they reached 504,435t.

Vietnam cement and clinker sales reached 6.5Mt in July, up 25 per cent YoY, the country's Association for Building Materials under the Ministry of Construction (MoC) announced. Vietnam sold 9.01Mt of cement and clinker in the first two months of this year, meeting 12.5 per cent of the whole-year target, according to figures from the country's Ministry of Construction (MoC).
