FLSmidth has been informed that Novo Holdings A/S on behalf of the Novo Nordisk Foundation has reduced its holding of FLSmidth shares to a total of 5,100,000 FLSmidth & Co. A/S shares, which corresponds to 9.95 per cent of the total nominal share capital in FLSmidth & Co. A/S.

FLSmidth reports 11% rise in revenue

FLSmidth reported an 11 per cent rise in revenue and a 25 per cent increase in EBITA in the 2Q17, driven by continued momentum in in orders from service activities. Consolidated order intake grew by five per cent in the three month period while revenue rose to DKK4585m from DKK4135m a year earlier. Eurocement eyes Denmark and Britain markets

“Contracts in Denmark and Britain are forthcoming,” according to Eurocement’s CEO, Mikhail Skorokhod, as the company expands its global reach. FLSmidth reported a 19 per cent increase in order intake for 1Q16 to DKK5.281bn (US$797m), mainly due to the receipt of a large order in a quarter which is usually quiet. FLSmidth’s order intake and revenue showed solid growth in the second quarter of this year supported by currency developments.
