JK Cement has reported that its standalone net profit declined by 26.1 per cent to INR1248m (US$15.5m) in the 2QFY22-23. India’s JK Cement has reported revenue from operations of INR21,664m (US$271.5m) in the quarter ended 30 June 2022. This compares to INR16,336m in the same period a year earlier.  Net profit over the same period has fallen from INR2082.6m to INR1811.4m. Indian cement producer JK Cement reported a standalone net profit of INR862.6m (US$11.1m) for the quarter ended 31 March 2022, representing an increase of 36.2 per cent when compared with the 1Q21 when net profit reached INR633.4m. JK Cement sees surge in consolidated net profit

India’s JK Cement Ltd has reported a 282 per cent surge in consolidated net profit to INR1.9bn (US$25.61m) for the quarter ending 30 June 2021, compared with INR499.4m in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations was also up 70.6 per cent YoY to INR17.14bn from INR10.05bn. Overall cement volumes climbed 71 per cent YoY to 3.02Mt, with grey cement (including clinker) at 2.76Mt.
