US December shipments – preliminary data19 February 2015, Published under Cement NewsPortland and blended cement shipments in December 2014 reached 6.24Mt, preliminary data from the US Geological Survey (USGS) shows. This takes full-year shipments to 88.53Mt, according to the initial indicators. Imports during December amounted to 545,259t, while for the full year they reached 7.31Mt. Clinker production for the final month of the year was 6.46Mt. For the full year clinker output totalled 74.93Mt. The full monthly report will be published in approximately two weeks. |

The company said that its shipments rose by 6.5 per cent to 1.72Mt in 2014, (+105,300t). During the year, Ahangarancement started to produce cement types PC 400 KD20 SSPC 400 D20 in 2014, of which it produced 84,610t and 47,922t respectively. |
