Cement consumption in Spain has grown by 13 per cent YoY in the first eight months of the year, reaching 9,581,951t, says Oficemen, Spain's cement association. Spanish cement exports have seen growth slow to 35.9 per cent YoY to 3.8Mt in the first half of 2021, down from 38.2 per cent in the 5M21, according to Spanish cement association, Oficemen. Cement consumption in Spain increased 17.3 per cent YoY to 7,309,916t in the first half of 2021, according to Spanish cement association, Oficemen. When compared with the 1H19 demand dipped 1.4 per cent. The positive trend in demand has been due to high sales in June 2021, which registered the highest volume since June 2011.
