Cement prices jump in Grenada
01 June 2006

The construction industry in the Caribbean island of Grenada will be hit by an almost 30 per cent increase in the price of cement as soon as the next shipment arrives, reports Caribbean Net News (May 8, 2006). Trinidad Cement Ltd (TCL), the main supplier here, announced the price adjustment, saying it was due to the rising cost of inputs, in particular fuel costs and the cost of procuring clinker.
