François R. Lacroix, President of the Cement Association of Canada (CAC) is pleased to announce that the CAC Board of Directors has selected Mr. Alan Kreisberg as Chairman of the Board, effective May 1, 2005.  Alan Kreisberg, President of Lafarge North America, Western Region Cement Division is a longtime veteran of the cement industry. He has been involved in the design, operation and management of cement plants for over 25 years. Originally from New York, Mr. Kreisberg obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering-Bioengineering from Princeton University as well as an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania. 
 
The Cement Association of Canada represents 100 per cent of the Canadian cement producers and is the national and regional voice of Canada’s cement industry. Through partnerships in marketing, public affairs, engineering and technical support, the Association seeks to advance the contributions that cement and concrete make to vibrant communities, a healthy environment and a competitive economy.
