Sedrak Sedrakian, General Director of the company "Multi Group", owner of the Araratcement, told ARMINFO, this year the company has supplied 17,000t of cement to Iran. The company meets competition due to the quality of the cement produced. Georgia is still the most traditional country for the export. So, last year the company supplied 25,000t of cement to Georgia and occupied 10% o the Georgian market. This year the company has already exported 74,000t of cement to that country. The general director mentioned that since Sept Araratcement plans to enter the Iraqi market. There are concrete agreements and negotiations are being conducted for transportation of the cargo. It is planned to sell to 300,000t of cement per a year in Iraq. The general direction mentioned that the factory is able to produce over 1Mta  of cement. Published under Cement News
