Cement prices in Uzbekistan exceeded UZS700,000/t (US$89.96/t) in July, according to Uzbekistan Newsline. The highest prices for the material were recorded in Karakalpakstan (UZS764,000), Khorezm (UZS757,000), Syrdarya regions (UZS745,000) and Tashkent (UZS743,000).

Both Kizilkumcement JSC and Bekabadcement JSC had previously set a price of between UZS430,000-490,000/t, depending on the place of sale. However, from 1 January, cement went into free exchange trading and some companies are now selling their products exclusively at exchange trades.
