Russia sees record cement prices in May

In Russia the average selling price for cement in the domestic market in May 2019 reached RUB3730/t (US$56/t) and RUB3740 for cement with additives, according to the Russian Federal State Statistics Service. This is reportedly a record figure for cement prices.

When compared to the previous month, the overall price growth rate stood at one per cent. Prices increased 4.9 per cent in the Far Eastern federal district (FD) but fell in the Southern FD.
