Cemex Philippines 1Q18 turnover amounted to US$113.6m, an increase of six per cent, while in peso terms this amounts to a 9.9 per cent advance to PHP5891m. Cemex has announced a 92.3 per cent YoY fall in profit for the 1Q18, decreasing from US$336m to US$26m. The sharp decline has been attributed to higher operating expenses and foreign exchange loss. Cemex Latin American Holdings' turnover declined by 8.4 per cent in first quarter of the year to US$301.1m, while EBITDA came off by 28.8 per cent to US$65.9m.
