Third Siwertell road-mobile cement unloader order helps with Libyan reconstruction

The Turkish construction services company Mussa Insaat Dis Ticaret Ltd of Istanbul has ordered a further road-mobile Siwertell 10 000 S cement unloader from Cargotec. The trailer-based, diesel-powered unit will have a rated discharge capacity of 300tph and will be equipped with a dual bellows system and dust filter. United Cement Industrial Company (UCIC) has selected a Loesche LM 56.4 raw mill for its cement plant in Al-Sadiya, 150km south of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. German-Spanish consortium (ThyssenKrupp) Polysius-Sacyr-Imasa has been awarded the US$244m contract for Ecebol’s new cement plant in Caracollo Norte, Oruro, Bolivia, according to the general manager of the Service for the Development of Productive Public Companies (SEDEM), Patricia Ballivián. Fives FCB signed a contract with Entreprise des Ciments et Dérivés d’El Chellif (ECDE), part of Ciments d’Algérie (GICA) related to the extension of a third production line at the Chelf cement plant, Algeria. Sinoma and CITIC Heavy Industries have agreed deals worth US$733m to construct cement plants in Nigeria and Myanmar, respectively.
