N+P has signed a five year contract to supply HC Miljö, a Heidelberg Cement subsidiary, with Subcoal ® fuel pellets. Ferus Smit has delivered the Nb. 435 (MV Ireland) to new owners JT Cement, a joint venture between Erik Thun AB and KG Jebsen Cement. Loesche GmbH, Germany, has signed a new contract with Sinoma-NCDRI, China, to supply three vertical roller mills to Thanh Thang Group Cement JSC in Vietnam. The scope of delivery for this order also includes rotary feeders, water injection, metal detectors and sealing air fans. ACC Ltd, part of the LafargeHolcim Group, has  expanded the capacity of its factory in Wadi in the south Indian state of Karnataka to 13,000tpd. The Beumer Group as main (EPC) contractor has got a repeat order on turnkey, for high-performance belt bucket elevator, type HGBW-HC 1250 x 175.3m. Turkey – Adana Cement to expand white cement milling

Adana Cement, part of Turkey’s OYAK Group, has placed an order with Loesche for a vertical roller mill to expand its white cement milling capacity by 200tph. The LM 46.4 mill has a transmission power of 2750kW and grinds material to a fineness of eight per cent R90 μm. The mill is expected to become operational in 4Q16. Adana Cement has an installed capacity of over 4Mta and produces both white and grey cement for export to Europe and Asia.

Cementos Argos has contracted FLSmidth to install a new OK 3304 cement mill system at its plant in Sogamoso, in the department of Boyacá, Colombia, 233km from Bogotá. This marks the fourth OK mill purchased by the company. The mill system includes cement storage, Ventomatic packing plant, MAAG gear, Airtech filters and auxiliary equipment. The project is expected to be commissioned in 3Q17.

Emami places order for third Gebr Pfeiffer cement mill

Emami Cement Ltd has placed an order for a Gebr Pfeiffer grinding plant which will be installed in Odisha state, India. The contract includes an MVR 6000 C-6 with an installed drive power of 6700kW. This mill will be capable of producing 335tph of OPC. The grinding plant will be designed to also allow fly ash cement and GGBS to be ground to a fineness of 3800cm²/g and 4000cm²/g according to Blaine, respectively. China National Building Materials (CNBM) has received an order from Arabian Cement Company (ACC) for a new grinding plant complete with two Loesche 63.3+3 vertical roller grinding mills with a table diameter of 6.3m and main drive size of 7400kW. Biberci Insaat has ordered a Loesche LM 56.3+3 clinker grinding VRM for a new cement plant in Konya, in the central Anatolia region of Turkey. Lafarge Tarmac (UK) has bought 60 new JCB 2CX Streetmaster backhoe loaders in a deal worth GBP4m (EUR5.5m).
