New ship unloader ordered for Port of Newcastle

Tenova TAKRAF will develop the ship unloader for the new bulk cargo terminal at the Port of Newcastle, Australia, which is scheduled to open in December 2019. Kerman Contracting Pty Ltd appointed Tenova/Takraf to build the ship unloader and conveyor facility to replace 50 year-old equipment at the terminal in Walsh Point, Kooragang. Fertilisers, alumina and magnetite, meals and cement will be the bulk cargoes handled by the port.

Loesche to supply Bestway Cement with new VRMs

As part of an order from Sinoma International Engineering, Loesche has won new roller mill orders with Bestway Cement Company for its Farooqia cement plant in the Punjab province, 40km north of the capital, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. FCT wins raw material drying order in Ecuador

FCT Combustion will supply a complete raw material drying system to Cemento Chimborazo, Ecuador. The project consists of a 41.2tph Triplex drier and a fluidised bed combustion system for petcoke and alternative fuel firing.

L&T Construction wins order for cement plants

FLSmidth has won an order for the engineering, procurement and supply of four vertical roller mills to three Philippine-based producers. Dangote Cement PLC has ordered a Gebr Pfeiffer MVR 6000 R-4 for raw material mill and an MPS 3350 BK coal mill for its new Okpella plant in Edo State, Nigeria.
