FLSmidth wins equipment order in Paraguay

FLSmidth has won a contract worth over DKK350m (US$53.59m) to deliver equipment for a greenfield cement plant in Paraguay.   The facility will have a capacity of 2500tpd and mainly supply cement to its local market. The successful partnership between Aumund France and Aumund China has resulted in large orders for Aumund in Algeria for two new cement plants at Zahana and Bechar. CBMI has signed an EPC contract to build a modular mobile grinding plant for LafargeHolcim Ciments de Guinea. The grinding plant will be located at Dubréka town, 80km from the port of Conakry. LafargeHolcim Ciments de Guinea currently has a 70 per cent share of the local market in Guinea.

Cemento Regional receives Cemengal grinding plant

Cemento Regional has received a new modular and portable grinding station from Cemengal for its expansion in El Salvador, Guatemala. The project consists of a Plug&Grind ® Classic, a modular packaging and palletising system, raw material and cement storage halls and silos for bulk dispatching. The new grinding unit will be commissioned during the 1H19 with a production of more than 12tph.

FLSmidth reports 71% order increase in 3Q18

FLSmidth has released its interim 3Q18 report and recorded a 71 per cent order increase to DKK7.164bn (US$1.102bn), on the back of two large cement plant orders in Central America at a combined value of DKK1.9bn. CTP Team has recently signed a contract for the replacement of the existing electrostatic precipitator (ESP) with a modern bag filter with HeidelbergCement, a project to be carried out at the cement producer's plant in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.
