Bosnia-based producer Tvornica Cementa Kakanj plans to invest BAM20m (EUR10.225m) to upgrade its facilities and improve its environmental performance. OCC inks financing agreement for new mill project

The Oman Arab Bank (OAB) has signed new banking facilities to Oman Cement Company (OCC) for its new cement mill No 5 project, including a term loan in addition to letters of credit. The Times of Oman reported that the agreement was signed by Jamal bin Shamis Al Hooti, CEO of OCC and Amin Al Husseini, CEO of the Oman Arab Bank.

Invecem to double San Sebastian output, Venezuela

Industria Venezolana de Cemento (Invecem) is expected to double production at its plant in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Aragua state, brings its third production line on-stream, according to Venezuela’s industry minister, José David Cabello. Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd's (CMSB) has contracted Christian Pfeiffer Maschinenfabrik GmbH to design and build its new cement grinding plant in Mambong, Sarawak.
