A TEC has installed an alternative fuel system for kiln riser duct firing at CRH's Turna Nad Bodvou cement plant in Slovakia. Loesche has been awarded the contract for five large vertical mills (VRMs) by Algerian cement producer SARL Biskria Ciment. Two mills will be supplied for the grinding of cement raw meal and three mills will be for clinker grinding for the cement producer’s plant in Biskra, 300km southeast of the capital Algiers. Vietnam: order for FLSmidth

Vietnamese cement producer Tan Thang Cement have awarded FLSmidth a contract for the supply of main equipment to a greenfield plant in the country. The Engineering and Procurement contract is valued at approximately DKK255m (US$37.9m). The new 5000tpd plant will be located in the Nghe An province, 300km south of Hanoi. The scope of supply includes all the main equipment, from raw mill grinding to clinker silo, as well as civil design, coal mill installation, training and commissioning.

FLSmidth has received an order worth approximately EUR100m (DKK750m) from the Vietnamese cement producer Xuan Than Group for the supply of a complete cement plant with a capacity of 12,000tpd.
