KHD books another order in Russia

ZAB Zementanlagenbau GmbH Dessau, a subsidiary of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG, has signed contracts totalling over EUR90m for equipment and services for a new cement plant consisting of two 3000tpd clinker lines. The new plant will be built in the Kaluga region of Russia for Pervaja Cementnaja Kompanija (PZK), part of the same group as major Russian construction company SU-155.

ZAB Zementanlagenbau GmbH Dessau, a subsidiary of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG, has received notice of project termination from Eurocement group company Stavropolsky Zavod Stroitelnih Materialov, the German equipment supplier announced in a statement today. Lipetskcement reports 8.8% rise in output, Russia

Lipetskcement, part of the Eurocement group, produced 81,420t of cement in the first two months of this year, 8.8 per cent more than the same period of 2013. Belarus set to increase cement exports to Russia

Belarus is set to increase cement exports to Russia by 0.5Mt this year, according to Belarusian Archictecture and Constructions Minister Anatoly Chernyl. Russia: Lipetskcement output continues upward trend

Lipetskcement, part of Eurocement group, has continued its steady growth trend with clinker and cement output up by 46 and 13.7 per cent YoY, respectively in January 2014. In the first month of the year the company produced 105,500t of clinker and 37,500t of cement. Production of CEM II A/S and 32.5N and CEM I 32.5N increased by 28.5 per cent and 16 per cent, respectively. Bagged cement production rose by 40.3 per cent.

Eurocement, the largest building materials group in Russia and the CIS states, reported a five per cent YoY increase in cement deliveries last year, exceeding 2012’s level by 1Mt. Italian cement major Buzzi Unicem saw turnover decline by 2.1 per cent last year to EUR2754m as the company saw another fall in its domestic market of Italy, but Russia and the US were its best performers. Eurocement eyes Belarus cement investment

The Eurocement Group of Russia is ready to invest US$70-80m to upgrade cement production facilities in Belarus, Minister of Architecture and Construction, Anatoly Chernyi, told a press conference. Akhangarancement, part of Eurocement Group, has reported a rise in clinker in cement production in the first 11 months of 2013. Over January-November, the Russia-based producer produced 1.074Mt of clinker and 1.47Mt of cement, a YoY rise of 11.7 and 2.2 per cent, respectively. Pikalevskiy Cement registers strong rise in monthly output, Russia

JSC Pikalevskiy Cement, part of the Eurocement Group, has reported strong increases in cement and clinker output during November. The company produced 135,100t of cement and 128,200t of clinker, an advance of 34.9 and 48.6 per cent, respectively, on the same month of the previous year.
