Iran reports 4% growth in 11M cement exports26 March 2019, Published under Cement NewsIran has reported a four per cent YoY growth in cement exports at 12,652,000t in the first 11 months of the last Iranian year (21 March 2018-21 February 2019). However, the value of cement exports fell 14 per cent YoY to around US$398.4m, according to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA). Cement imports also declined during the period, decreasing 21 per cent YoY to around 39,600t. |

Exports from the country reached 182,000t in the same period, according to a report by Asia-Plus, however, an annual comparison was not stated. Vietnam expected to record 8-9% cement sales increase25 February 2019, Published under Cement NewsVietnam is expected to record an 8-9 per cent YoY rise in cement sales to 98-99Mt in 2019, according to a forecast by the country’s Ministry of Construction. Of this, domestic sales would consist of 70Mt while the additional 29-30Mt would be exports. Two more production lines are also expected to push cement output to 101.74Mt from a total of 84 lines.
