Kanodia Cement completes Amethi grinding plant expansion

Kanodia Cement has set up a new cement grinding unit at its Amethi plant, India. The grinding expansion is already completed and production began in April 2022. ACC Ltd commissions new grinding capacity in Tikaria

ACC Ltd has commissioned 1.6Mta grinding capacity in Tikaria , Uttar Pradesh, India. The project has expanded cement capacity at the Tikaria plant to 3.91Mta. “As announced earlier, the company is progressing well to increase its capacity, ie, 2.7Mt of clinker and 4.8Mt of cement by 2024,” said ACC MD and CEO, Sridhar Balakrishnan.

Loma Negra inaugurates second line

Loma Negra (InterCement group) has inaugurated its new production line at the L'Amalí plant in Olavarría, Argentina. Together with national, provincial and municipal authorities, and the cement manufacturer’s customers and suppliers, the  second production line of L'Amalí, the largest cement plant in South America, was inaugurated on 6 December 2021. Its incorporation allows the company to increase cement production capacity by 40 per cent and create more than 160 new direct jobs.

Sinoma-CBMI is progressing with the modernisation of the Ciments du Sahel plant in Kirene, Senegal.
