Essex Crane Rental has supplied two crawler cranes to Chesapeake Mechanical to assist with the US$500m expansion of the Essroc Cement Plant in Martinsburg, WV The expansion involves building towers, silos, collectors and process ducts. FLSmidth has signed a contract worth approximately 130m euros (DKK 970m) with the Libyan company Al Hadena National Company to supply equipment and design of buildings and structures for a cement plant with a capacity of 4,600tpd. Uralmash Machine Building Corporation will employ the engineering services of KHD Humboldt Wedag GmbH. This is their third joint contract to supply equipment to Russian cement makers. The Turkish company Polimeks Insaat Taahhüt ve San. Tic. A.S has been contracted by the government of Turkmenistan to act as general contractor for the construction of a new 3000tpd cement production line.  The plant, for which Polysius is supplying the main components from the raw material preparation system to the cement grinding system, is to be constructed near the town of Jebel, about 140km from Türkmenbashi harbour.
