Redecam wins ESP to baghouse conversion project

Arabian Cement Co  is converting its electrostatic precipitators to state-of-the-art bag filters for dust emissions control. The Egyptian cement producer has joined forces with Redecam Group SpA to achieve dust emission levels below 5mg/Nm 3. ACC is collaborating with the Egyptian Environmental Pollution Abatement Program (EPAP), furthering its commitment to sustainability. This initiative goes beyond mere compliance with dust emissions standards to actively reduce emissions.

Jordan-based Rabou’ Al Taybeh Co has agreed to receive clinker exports from Al Jouf Cement Co of Saudi Arabia for a period of six months. Cement demand in Saudi Arabia is forecast to advance by three per cent in 2024 in terms of volumes, compared to a decline of eight per cent in 2023, reports Aljazira Capital. Hundreds of Yazidi Americans have launched a lawsuit against Lafarge, accusing it of supporting violence carried out by ISIL (ISIS).
