New orders for FLSmidth

The year 2003 was a breakthrough in introducing the new training simulator system ECS/CEMulator in the cement industry. Based on a article in the role of training simulators published in International Cement Review, May 2003, an introduction campaign in Europe and Middle East during October-December 2003 and a seminar with hands-on experience with the system, FLSmidth Automation received six orders for ECS/CEMulator. The orders are from end-users, technical and training centres. The scope of the orders are specifically tailored for the specific needs of the given customer.
The main motivation of the customers in placing the orders seem to be the focus of ECS/CEMulator is partly in the close integration between the soft-PLC-based control system and the dynamic process simulation, and the advanced capabilities in the operator evaluation and performance recording and reporting.
