Indonesia Hosts Asia Pacific Infrastructure Forum
29 March 2012

Indonesia will host the largest infrastructure forum in the Asia Pacific region -- the Indonesia International
Infrastructure Conference and Exhibition 2012 (IIICE 2012).

This forum will be conducted simultaneously with the Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on Sustainable and Inclusive Infrastructure Development 2012 (APMC-SIID) to be held from May 2-5, 2012 in Jakarta.

This event will bring together governments, investors, bankers and the players in the infrastructure industry. Hatta Rajasa, Economic Affairs Coordinating Minister, said the event will support the implementation of the Master Plan on the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development (Masterplan Percepatan dan Perluasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Indonesia/MP3EI) program.

“This forum will also ensure that our national program will be coordinated with the Pan-Asia Pacific strategy which is aimed to revitalize regional growth,” Hatta said. Suryo B Sulisto, Chairman of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, added that several projects from Indonesia and Asia Pacific will be presented and offered to the private sector.
