Khutul Cement and Lime's newly-expanded cement plant has been officially inaugurated in the presence of Norovyn Altankhuyag, Prime Minister of Mongolia.

Capacity of the cement works, situated in Khutul soum of Selenge Province, has been expanded four-fold. Following recent modernisation work, the plant now has the capacity to produce 3000tpd of cement, or 1Mta. Basement LLC won the tender bid for the plant and launched its construction in January 2011. The project was completed in October 2013.
