Cement production rises 5% in Azerbaijan

In the first four months of 2019, the total value of building materials production in Azerbaijan rose five per cent YoY to AZN240m (US$141.5m). Cement production increased 5.2 per cent over the same period to 0.99Mt.

Ready-mix concrete advanced 11.7 per cent YoY to 0.42Mt. However, production of precast concrete building structures declined 52.5 per cent to 14,100m³.
