Cement dispatches in Colombia fell 7.5 per cent YoY to 1.163Mt in March 2023 from 1.257Mt in March 2022, according to national statistics agency, DANE. Cement consumption in Colombia fell by 4.4 per cent YoY to 1.058Mt in February 2023 from 1.107Mt, according to the country’s statistics office, DANE. Of this total, bagged cement sales showed a 7.1 per cent fall, but bulk sales were up by 1.3 per cent YoY. Colombian cement dispatches declined 3.5 per cent to 0.93Mt in January 2023 from 0.964Mt in January 2022, according to the country’s statistics office, DANE. When compared with January 2019 cement demand increased 1.4 per cent from 0.917Mt. Grey cement dispatches in Colombia slipped 1.1 per cent YoY to 1.122Mt in December 2022 from 1.135Mt in December 2021, according to the country’s statistics agency, DANE.
