YTL Cement of Malaysiahas joined the World Cement Association (WCA) as a corporate member. The WCA now has a network of 75 members representing 34 countries. The World Cement Association (WCA) has appointed two new Joint Chairmen, Cui Xingtai of China United Cement Co (CUCC) and Vincent Lefebvre of Cem'In'EU. Mr Cui has been Chairmen of CUCC since 2005 and Vice President of CNBM since 2009. Mr Lefebvre has dual experience as an international group executive with Holcim and start-up founder of Cem'In'EU.

The World Cement Association (WCA) has appointed Mohammed A Al-Garni as its vice president. Mr Al-Garni is the CEO of Saudi Cement Co and board member of WCA.
