Cementos Avellaneda will increase its production capacity at its La Calera (San Luis) cement plant by 0.7Mta from 0.3Mta to 1Mta with an investment of US$200m by 2019. Long Son Co Ltd has successfully brought its second production line of its Long Son cement plant in Thanh Hoa, into production, raising the plant’s capacity to 14,000tpd (5Mta).
