Steppe Cement reported a 35 per cent YoY decline in cement sales volumes to 124,669t in the first quarter of 2017 as cement consumption in Kazakhstan fell five per cent YoY. Vietnam exported 4.82Mt of cement and clinker worth US$168.65m in the first quarter of this year, representing 11 per cent increase YoY in volume and 6.4 per cent in value, according to the latest data of the General Department of Vietnam Customs. Pakistan nine-month sales up 7% YoY

Cement sales in Pakistan increased by seven per cent YoY in the first nine months of the current fiscal to reach 30.304Mt, latest data from the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA) reveals. Pakistan cement exporters have earned revenues of US$12.24m on exports of 229,819t cement in February 2017, compared to US$22.268m on 411,257t of exports in the previous month.
