Chinese have land agreement in place for Sibay cement plant

The Chinese are reported to have begun designs for a cement plant in Sibay, Bashkira, Russia, close to the Kazakh border. New Rudny plant to start export to Russia

Belarusian cement exports to be sold through commodity exchange

From 1 January 2019, approximately 200,000tpa or 10 per cent of Belarus’ total cement exports will be available to purchase from the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE), according to Roman Yaniv, press secretary of BUCE. Sibirsky Cement's cement production falls in 9M18

Russia’s Sibirsky Cement has seen a minor fall in cement production from its three plants in the 9M18, slipping to 2.507Mt from 2.516Mt in the year-ago period. The company’s Topkinsky facility recorded a flat YoY result of around 1.7Mt, while Krasnoyarsky increased its production by three per cent to 268,100t.
