Turkey cement exports reach US$1bn in 2020

Turkey has exported nearly US$1bn of cement in 2020, amounting to 30Mt, according to Tamer Saka, the chairman of the Turkish Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMB). Cement exports from Turkey to Turkmenistan increased by 79.1 per cent from January through September 2020, compared to the same period in 2019, amounting to US$14.8m, the Turkish Trade Ministry reported. Titan Group reports revenues of EUR1202m in 9M20

Titan Group announced its consolidated revenue totalled EUR1202.4m for the 9M20, a marginal decline of 0.5 per cent when compared with the revenue in the 9M19. US claims 18% of Turkey's cement exports in the 9M20

The USA represented an 18 per cent share of Turkish cement exports during the first nine months of the year, the largest share amongst the export destinations, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). Turkey's Sabanci Holding has announced that it will be restructuring its white cement business unit by merging its financial power and the operational capability of its Çimsa subsidiary, according to a statement.
