Vicat reports 29% rise in consolidated net income in 2021

Vicat saw its consolidated sales advance by 11.3 per cent to EUR3123m in 2021 from EUR2805m in 2020. At constant scope and exchange rates the increase was 16.2 per cent. EBITDA was up 11.1 per cent and 14.5 per cent like for like (LfL) to EUR619m in 2021 from EUR557m in the previous year. FLSmidth sees 5% rise in order intake in 2021

FLSmidth reported a five per cent increase in order intake in 2021 as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic waned and project sites became more accessible. Including currency effects the intake was up by four per cent to DKK19,233m (US$2941m) with mining and cement contributing equally to the growth.
