The line, which to date produced grey cement, reportedly entered trial production in 2013 and currently has a clinker capacity of 5000tpd. A consignment of 10,000t of “Super White” cement, produced in the company’s Oggaz plant, was shipped to Cape Town. The shipment is part of the company’s export programme, launched in 2018. In the run-up to 2021, LafargeHolcim expects to export 10Mt of grey cement clinker to west Africa. |
