The Swiss unit of Swiss-Swedish electrical engineering company ABB received two orders for SFr33m ($25.34m) in Iran, ABB Schweiz said on May 10, 2004. ABB Schweiz will supply the electric equipment and automation for a new production line of Teheran Cement Company. The said production line will become operational in 2005. The order is worth US$9.98m. The second order, which is worth US$15.36m, includes the delivery of automation and electrification for an iron ore plant, which will become operational in 2007. Both orders will be carried out by ABB’s unit, Minerals & Paper, in Daettwil, northern Switzerland. Published under Cement News
