The Vietnam Import and Export Corporation (Vinaconex) will invest more than 3 billion USD to implementing 11 major projects and 30 small-and medium-sized projects.  Included are a 4,000-billion VND project to expand the Lang-Hoa Lac express way, a project to supply water for urban areas of Son Tay, Hoa Lac-Mieu Mon-Ha Noi, and Ha Dong with a total investment capital of 168 million USD; a 4,700 billion VND project to build the Cam Pha cement plant.  In addition, construction of a hydro-electric power plant will start on February 3 at a cost of 5,500 billion VND.  The Corporation has also conducted a feasibility study for a project to upgrade apartments in Thanh Xuan Bac, Ha Noi and others in Ho Chi Minh City Published under Cement News
