FLSmidth MAAG Gear expands production facilities

FLSmidth MAAG Gear has widened the production capabilities at their gear production facilities in Poland.

A major investment in the machinery enables FLSmidth MAAG Gear to manufacture bevel gear
sets that will be sold through the global network of the FLSmidth Group. This newly installed state of
the art bevel gear cutting as well as measuring machines will support the organization's strategy of
getting closer to customers by providing one-stop-shop solutions to their needs..

The company is now able to control the complete production process in relation to time, money and technical know-how. Newly installed state of the art equipment such as Klingelnberg bevel cutter GMC 160, DEPOT Xpert bevel cutter V3520 and Klingelnberg gear tester T200/250 will reap viable business for FLSmidth when vertical roller mill gearing or bevel gearing sets for gyratory and cone crushers are produced.

Dedicating the service to the industry, FLSmidth Group CEO, Jørgen Huno Rasmussen, at the inauguration of the new facilities expressed confidence in saying: "The new bevel gear cutting machines arethe only ones of their kind in Europe. And FLSmidth with its 130 years of old traditions now relies on
this new outfit for supplying gears in the future as well."
