Antidumping duties on Portland cement and clinker from Belarus, Moldova and Russia introduced by the Ukrainian government last summer have led to an increase in output and capacity utilisation in Ukraine’s cement plants, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
"We regard this step as positive, which allowed us to increase the load of enterprises and output of marketable products. Now our capacities are 90 per cent loaded," said Mykola Kruts, the chairman of the board of Ivano-Frankivskcement.
