FLSmidth reports 13% order increase in 2Q18

FLSmidth has released its interim 2Q18 report and reported a 13 per cent order increase to DKK5.056bn (US$787.86m) for the period, driven by over 100 per cent growth in the minerals division. FLSmidth signs two large cement plant contracts in Central America

FLSmidth has been awarded two new contracts for greenfield and brownfield cement plants in Central America. Both US$100m+ contracts include design and engineering, equipment supply, automation systems, training and advisory services for installation and commissioning. China-based Hongshi Holding Group Co Ltd is expected to award a contract to FLSmidth for the supply of mills, crushers and feeders for its 8000tpd plant in East Java, Indonesia.
