HeidelbergCement Group's revenue rose significantly by 11.3 per cent to EUR9950m (1H21: EUR8938m) in comparison with the first half of the previous year. Holcim secures EU investment in CCUS projects

Holcim has secured investment from the European Union Innovation Fund in its carbon capture, utlisation and storage (CCUS) projects in Germany and Poland. CEMEX has announced that it has completed the acquisition of a 53 per cent stake in German aggregates company ProStein.
