CIC-Market Solutions has softened its negative scenario post 2022 for Heidelberg Materials . It has raised its 2023 EBITDA projection to EUR3537m (down EUR128m versus 2022E), versus a previous estimate of EUR3439m. Heidelberg Materials grows revenue 13% in 9M22

Heidelberg Materials ’ revenue in the first 9M22 rose significantly by 12.9 per cent in comparison with the previous year to EUR15,802m (9M21: EUR13,996m). Excluding consolidation and exchange rate effects, the rise amounted to 12.3 per cent. In particular, price increases in all group areas contributed to the revenue growth. Germany’s Aumund Fördertechnik GmbH is supplying 41 machines for a new kiln line at the Medcem Madencilik cement plant in Silifke in the Turkish province of Mersin. The Aumund supply package comprises six belt bucket elevators, two bucket elevators with central chain, four pan conveyors and 11 drag chain conveyors. Thomas Gruppe has confirmed the acquisition of Opterra Zement GmbH and Opterra Beton GmbH (east Germany), which have been owned by CRH Plc since 2015 as part of the pre-merger bulk acquisition of certain Lafarge and Holcim assets.  CIC-Market Solutions estimates Opterra's cement sales to be close to EUR110m.
