Lafarge Africa reduces CO2 emissions through AF use

Lafarge Africa has reduced is CO 2 emissions from 595kg CO 2 /t  in 2021 to 574kg CO 2 /t in 2022 through the use of alternative fuels and energy-efficient technologies. Saint-Gobain signs solar energy agreement

Saint-Gobain has signed a 14-year renewable electricity supply agreement with Alpiq Energie France. The contract covers the purchase of electricity generated by two solar farms located in Moselle, northeast France. The Portland Cement Association (PCA) has urged the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reconsider enforcing a proposed lower, fine particulate matter (PM) National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS).
